Copyright and Use

My purpose with this website is to make Jewish learning widely available. My readers include individual learners, teachers of Torah, and rabbis. I’m happy for you to use my work, as long as you give me credit for it.

All of my work on this website is covered under the Creative Commons Attribution CC-by license, which they describe thus:

Attribution
CC BY

cc-byAttribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

The full text of this license is available on the Creative Commons website.

In other words, while I appreciate being asked for my permission, you don’t need to do that. You can use my work as long as:

  • you say that it’s mine,
  • you say that it came from this website,
  • you are explicit if you have altered it in any way,
  • and you make clear that your use of my work does not indicate that I endorse you or your work in any way.
