Losing God in Jerusalem

Every now and then I read something and all I can think is, “Darn, I wish I’d written that.”

My colleague Rabbi Robin Nafshi has published an exquisite essay on the Lilith blog, Losing God in Jerusalem.

I encourage you to click the link and read it. I’m not going to spoil it for you by saying more.

  1. Left me feeling a bit cold. Interesting emotions of the author however and rather different from how I interpret my relationship with G-d.

  2. thank you for sharing; i like reading honest soul searching; we are not alone in the search and brings such reward.

    1. Her honesty took my breath away. I had a very rough year living there myself and realized, reading R. Nafshi’s piece, how much I had suppressed and “forgotten.”
